Sudden Decrease in Grip Strength in Both Hands

I've noticed a sudden decrease in grip strength in the past 3ish months in both hands. they aren't more hypermobile but I'm having a hard time holding objects and doing tasks like buttoning or zippering clothing. I've been thinking about getting finger braces but they're rather expensive and I'm not sure if they'd help in this situation because it isn't my joints extending that's the problem, its that they're too loose and aren't holding the way I position myself

Maybe try strength training? I know they make stuff that's supposed to help improve grip strength, maybe those will actually work for you if your fingers aren't hypermobile

Oooh, I would definitely talk to your doctor and get a referral to a Physical or Occupational Therapist to have that checked. đź’ť

This could be neurological so I’d definitely talk to your PCP about it and see what they think
