I've been wanting someone to reply and say they've been going through the same thing I've dealt with these crying attacks since winter of last year and I'm getting sick and tired of them I'm trying to focus on my job but they keep taking control

I don't know if I have the same thing as you.. But I cry A LOT.... I've always been an emotional person and I thought it was just a part of who I am. If medication is your thing I hope it helps. As for me, I try to avoid it when possible. Sometimes a little meditation will help calm an episode before I start to cry. Could be as simple as repeating "I am safe. I am loved." while you focus on breathing.

I understand! I feel like I'm always one misstep away from a breakdown. It's hard because I'm sick of hiding my emotions and really bad at it lmao.

Sometimes when you fight it, it can get worse.. Love yourself and your emotions! At the very least be a little kinder to yourself next time you have an episode. It's okay to cry. ❤️ And this may be just me.. But I think those times when you REALLY don't know why you gotta cry, but your body does it anyway.. Maybe there's something you haven't actually dealt with and your brain is forcing you to one way or another. When I'm able to pause and think, I usually find something plausible.
