Switching to Latuda: Any Side Effects?

I'm about to begin Latuda; switching from Invega due to too high if prolactin levels and weight gain. Has anybody experienced any significant side effects? Has it helped with all of your symptoms?

Hi! Latuda has worked for me the last couple years. I take it with Wellbutrin. I switched from Seroquel because it was increasing my appetite and causing weight gain.

My prolactin levels increased due to Latuda. I am on a higher dose now though since my patuitary tumor has shrunk down to nothing. I used to have severe breast pain and breast discharge. It might come back though because of my recent higher dose I'm taking.

my psych seemed to think Latuda would help the prolactin go down, that's interesting

I haven't had any significant side effects with it yet. I've been taking it for a few months and so far there hasn't been anything I've noticed.

I've been on Latuda for about 5 years and love it! It helps my mood. I have bipolar and it reduces hypomania.

Latuda does have a drawback. If you miss a dose (I take mine at night, if that makes a difference), you may have a headache the next day. It's nothing a little ibuprofen won't cure. I've been on it for a few years, and it helps balance everything out.
