Taking Adderall with Pseudotumor Cerebri: Any Experiences?

I was diagnosed last year by my neurologist with pseudotumor cerebri, and I also struggle with adhd. I was recently prescribed adderall for my adhd, but had to get the ok from my neurologist to take it. I was wondering if anyone has taken adderall with pseudotumor cerebri, and it affected them in any way, because I still haven’t heard back from my neurologist🙃 ⭐️also I had a spinal tap done last year, and everything came back normal⭐️

If your spinal tap was normal how did you get diagnosed? The main characteristic is increased pressure. Also I'm on Adderall with a shunt (and revision) with absolutely no impact

So, I was diagnosed in 2015 and have yet to need a spinal tap. It’s kind of a last resort thing here. My neurologist tries to keep things as simple and painless as possible. That said, I do indeed have IIH as I’ve seen my optic nerve and the damage it does. You have to remember these conditions aren’t the same for everyone.

I’m not completely sure tbh. I was an eye doctors appointment, and she referred me to get an mri done on my brain, and then the neurologist confirmed it. Thank you for letting me know!

Many times if your pressure is high enough, you can see it on an MRI.

I didn't take Adderall but I did take a stimulant and it didn't effect me definitely would consult with your doc first though. Also congrats on the LP ♥️

I read on the inet that adderall can cause and increase intracranial pressure

I have IIH and also take Adderall. One doesn't seem to effect the other.
