Tingling in Arms and Hands When I Urinate

Tingling (pins & needles) in my arms and hands when I urinate but I don’t have a UTI .. test was negative. Does anyone have a clue of what this could be?

If you want to, feel free to dm me because I'm wondering if you need to see a urologist or someone who specializes in urinary issues?

Do you have any back problems, by chance? Obviously I'm not an expert, but I can tell you I've noticed a lot of my numbness in my limbs often corresponds to severe tension and muscle spasms in my back. I tend to wake up with severe morning stiffness in my thoracic spine, and until I take my meds and a hot shower, my hands will both be numb enough that I drop things, with sensation returning when my back is more relaxed. I've also found that I lose feeling in my hands and feet when I stand up too fast and POTS sorta tachycardia gives me that lightheaded feeling. So, two thoughts I might have aside from a UTI if I were to experience an uptick in my sensation problems when I pee, would be that my full bladder was putting pressure on somewhere in my spine and I'm noticing this numbness due to the change in pressure on that spot, or that something about urinating was making my heart twitchy and I was getting lightheaded because my brain wasn't getting enough oxygen for a moment. Just two guesses based on my own experiences. Ymmv of course.

Do you also get the feeling of pins stabbing you all over your body when you urinate? I had this just a few months ago. I went to my PCP who told me it can be a beginning stage of an infection. He put me on a high dosage of 100mg of antibiotics twice a day for two weeks and it went away and prior to giving me the antibiotics he did do some blood tests and a urinalysis on me and even though you could not see it physically there was blood showing in my urine

Maybe getting a consultation with a neurologist could help find what the problem is. I have to pinched nerves in my neck and shoulders that cause numbness and tingling in my hands. It just on the position my arms and hands are in.
