Take it slow and don't push yourself. It will only make things worse if you overstrain yourself.

I practice something called “pacing” - it’s often used in MS but is helpful for most chronic illnesses sufferers. Make it work for you. In short it’s about whatever energy you’re putting in - make sure to know your limits and take equal breaks. For example, I have a thing when I’m cleaning to clean for an hour then sit and rest for an hour. That could look different in a flare. 10 minuets cleaning, an hour rest - find a swing that works for you ❤️ just remember to treat yourself with kindness. Does the cleaning have to be done today? Would it benefit you more taking time to heal and rest and restore your strength? I hope you are okay 💕

hi thanks for the long reply I did a small amount and left it for the night. I have decided to do like 30 mins a day more or less depending on how I'm feeling, for example on a good day ill do an hour and bad days 10 minutes. I'm working on the not being hard on myself bit. That isn't easy :D my boyfriend helps but I don't want to rely on him for everything just yet haha i want some independence
