Avoiding animal products. Depending on the person you are, if you can deal drastic changes in diet. I avoid red meats, and stick with white meats or fish/seafood. But even after making changes in my diet my cholesterol is still high. There are a lot of plant based meat products out there these days. The technology is getting better and they taste better too. Doesn’t help to try a few and find while ones taste good to you. I make slight adjustments to my diet replacing certain products one at a time, because I couldn’t just do a completely vegan diet. Try working with a nutritionist/endocrinologist. Losing weight also helps. Changing my diet has helped, but unfortunate exercise isn’t possible for me due to fatigue and joint pain. And aside from changing your diet and if thst fails, there are also medications that can help with lowering cholesterol!

I take citrus bergamot! Amazing supplement , I’m getting my lipids tested this week it’s been three months I’ve been on it, and it’s replacing my lipid lowering medicine that my doctor wanted to prescribe .
