Tips for Working Out with Sensory Processing Disorder

hello, i am a 18 y/o neurodivergent girl trying to lose weight. i have a sensory processing disorder , meaning that i am more sensitive to stimuli that others may not be. one of the things i get really hypersensitive and upset over is sweat. this has made exercise really hard because the feeling of sweat makes me want to crawl out of my skin. this also makes being overweight really hard and makes me have a bigger negative view about myself since i tend to sweat more than my smaller friends because of my weight and my sedentary lifestyle. if anyone has any tips for working out that involve minimal sweating so i can work myself up to the more intense stuff, that would really be great :) i appreciate all of you <3

I always liked swimming as exercise, don’t know if you’re into that or not. Either way I hope you find something that works for you that you can stick with. I need to start exercising also for weight loss but I am scared to find out how out of shape I really am.
