Considering Tonsillectomy for Tonsil Stones - Need Advice

hey all has anyone been suggested tonsillectomy for treatment of your tonsil stones? I have my surgery in just a couple days, but I'm worried that it isn't the best course of action. What are your experience(s)?

I deal with them. I’ve tried eliminating dairy which seemed to help some! And lots of vitamins also seemed to help keep them at bay. But I understand there an absolute pain. Especially when you get them all the time.

But no doc has recommend that although it has been mentioned as an option if I felt I needed it.
