Tooth Cramps: Tips for Dealing

ok so anyone ever have tooth cramps? I feel like I've got braces on squeezing my teeth together. Anyone got any tips for dealing?

That sounds very much like TMJ. For me, I had to see a specialist, but you might be able to coax your jaw back into behaving. If you can get either moist heat or some sort of cold on it to relax the muscles, that might help. I usually use something called a Bed Buddy for heat around the neck. I don't respond well to Icy Hot, but roll-on Cryoderm has worked great for me. You can also get mouth guards to help with teeth clenching while you're sleeping. Meditation has also personally helped me, mostly because it has me focusing on relaxing my face muscles. Best of luck on dealing with this! I hope it eases up on you quickly!

thank you very much for this very useful. I'm hoping I'll manage to get it to move on as it has been made worse by a wisdom tooth removal (we thought that was the root of the pain). I'm now in my third week since removal and stating to not wake in the night for pain killers. So here's hoping. Your tips have really helped.
