oh no, I'm sorry that you had that experience! I hope you've found an effective treatment that works for you! And I'm glad to hear that your friend has found relief through topiramate! It's definitely worth a try at this point (and I trust that my neuro's plan of introducing the treatment slowly will hopefully be better for my body)! It just seemed like one of those treatments where people either had a very positive experience or a really, really bad time. Fingers crossed it won't be worse than trying to deal with migraines unmedicated for ~20 years!
