i take it for insomnia and it really helps. the only negative for me is that it gives me really vivid dreams but that’s not a huge deal as long as they’re not nightmares

I’ve just been described it this past week and so far I love it, I take it for my insomnia. And I’m actually able to sleep and stay asleep for at least a few hours at this moment in time.

I got it prescribed for insomnia but tbh, I hardly use it. For me it only really works when I'm already exhausted (ie day 3 of no sleep) and when I took it consistently it was no longer helping me sleep. Everyone's experience is different, however. Just keep your doctor in the loop and they'll adjust the dosage or switch meds depending on how it goes :)

I got it prescribed for insomnia related to ptsd / chronic nightmares.. it has only made the nightmares more vivid.. though i’m also able to fall asleep quicker and sleep longer (ish) with minimal (usual no med related) grogginess in the morning 💝

Along with my other medications, trazodone makes me extremely tired. I have chronic insomnia and can’t sleep without my medication. Once I take my medications, I am out for the night lol, it does it’s job

I LOVE my Trazodone. I also take it for sleeping issues and have slept SO much better since.

I take it for sleep maintenance insomnia and it’s great. Only Drawback is I wake up moaning and whimpering from nightmares, but it’s worth it because I go right back to sleep after and I’m sleeping a lot more than I was before.

I take it for insomnia but i also find that i benefit from the anti-depressant side of it too! It works great for me when I remember to take it at a decent hour. I will say, if you are on any stimulants, you'll definitely want to take it about 30 mins out from when you ACTUALLY want to sleep.

If I take it more than two days in a row (which I typically need to do because I can't get to sleep on my own) I'm up until 5am

@quebellaquetemporal - i take prazosin to combat ptsd related nightmares and it really helps. i’d suggest asking your doc about it! also it is technically a blood pressure medication so if you have low blood pressure already you shouldn’t take it but there may be another option

I love it. I take 50mg for sleep. I will say for me, less is better. I don’t feel like any more really does much for me, but that could be different for others.
