Living with Trigeminal Neuralgia as a Full-Time Teacher and Mother of Four

I’m a 44 year old female with Trigeminal Neuralgia. I work full time as a teacher, and I sometimes find that having this condition and working full time can be a lot to handle sometimes. Work and family keeps me going though. I’m a mother of four.

Hi Aimees, I am 23 years old and I have trigeminal neuralgia too. I have not been able to find a mix of medications that help keep my trigeminal pain under control. How do you manage yours day to day?

I went with the chick Moehawk and just kept my hair cut to as short as I could get it in that area.

I agree. 3 kids, and a STNA. Sometimes I don't know if I'll make it through work, but I do. And I feel better while I'm there. It's a great distraction

I take carbamazepine. It stopped the pain. I've been own it for about 4 years now.
