What kind of tumors do you have?

Hi! What kind of tumors (if any) do you guys have? I have a rare spinal cord tumor, a pilocytic astrocytoma (rare brain tumor that occurs in children, but it’s in my spinal cord and I’m 21). I’m just trying to find some more medical unicorns ☺️☺️

I am like the 11th person in the world diagnosed with primary pituitary ependymoma. Ependymoma is typically found as a brain tumor (versus spinal cord) only in very young children. I was diagnosed at age 38 and am now 40 and scheduled for second brain surgery Aug 4th to resect the tumor. I have had a tough time getting a medical treatment plan due to no medical consensus on my tumor, as only ten cases have ever been treated in the world.

I have a small grape size cervical hemangioblastoma at C3/4 causing mild stenosis so neuro surgery recommends leaving it alone for now

if it grows get more aggressive with your treatment. If no change in size the I would leave it be.

I have a grade 2 meningioma, it was huge when diagnosed 6.5 cm. Generally they occur in older, post-menopausal women but I was 24 when I was diagnosed. It came back after I had surgery so I had radiation this summer
