Need Help Understanding Bipolar Disorder

I was just recently diagnosed with bipolar disorder (still not sure if it’s 1 or 2), and I don’t know anything about it. So, is there any indicators to when you’re about to enter a manic episode? Or are they different for everyone?

I haven’t been diagnosed with either or, but I have showed signs of having really bad bipolar issues. Whenever my manic episodes happen, I usually get angry/agitated easily. The best way is to get some fresh air and listen to music. (Or at least that’s what I do)

For me personally, I know I'm about to get manic when I start obsessing about something, get the urge to do anything drastic (like chop my hair off with kitchen scissors or rearrange the whole house at once) and get really excited about life, suddenly life is easier and I'm functioning much better. Which sounds amazing because my mania's are amazing, but then it goes too far I get crazy and bad things start happening and I crash and burn.
