I've never been diagnosed with a condition that explains all of my symptoms. Has anyone else?

Its hard to know what causes what when adhd, depression and anxiety overlap so much.

Nope, I have a few conditions that have overlapping symptoms but even then I don't have a diagnosis for every symptom. My gastro issues are still a complete mystery to everyone

No. Gastro symptoms seem to be hard. I was taken off Gabapenten and am itching and what feels like restless leg syndrome all over my body at night and getting no sleep.

Neither have I! I had to beg for an ADHD diagnosis at age 38. It is hard because a lot of symptoms overlap. But everything has always been brushed off as normal. Especially after I became a Mom. Like oh you are a Mom now. It’s normally to feel like a crazy person all the time.

Fibromyalgia... and just recently from going to therapy I picked up bipolar and ADD at 41.

no! my symptoms are so general it’s hard to get a definitive diagnosis. I’ve been referred to Mayo for diagnostics. hope you get some answers soon. I know how hard it can be💕

Oh yes! I'm still waiting for my diagnosis, more than 2 years now. Have lots of symptoms and no explanation for them. I feel like no one really understands me, even though some of the people close to me say they are. Most of the doctors make me feel like i'm crazy...

I think my fibro diagnosis will make a lot of my symptoms make sense. Still have the endometriosis and interstitial cystitis

I do not agree to get a diagnosis of fibromyalgia. I think that if I get this diagnosis the doctors will stop searching the real reason for my symptoms

I don't know if that possible unless you're actually pretty healthy. I definitely have fibromyalgia but I also have central sleep apnea, carpal tunnel, depression, sensitivity to heat, acid reflux. I've had my gallbladder removed, because I had gallstones, a dermoid cyst removed, and my ovaries taken out, not sure what the issue was but it stopped the abdominal pain when nothing else would. I'm 46 with bad eyesight and 5 of my teeth missing with more to come. But I have great hair and nails! Go figure. It would be nice to put it all under one label but that's not necessarily how it works and there's nothing wrong with that.

I’m the same. There’s always something that my current known diseases can’t explain

Yes! I wasn’t able to get answers until I endlessly researched and went to see a specialist for what I thought it was, 18 years later. Turned out, it was! I finally got an answer but I understand the grueling pain of not knowing!

I have a few different diagnosis but a lot of my symptoms are still unexplained and my doctors don't really care about a lot of my concerns. I've seen SO many doctors that I've really gotten so burnt out trying to find answers that I don't even try anymore. Thank you everyone for your comments, it helps to know I'm not the only one who feels this way.

I’m very frustrated today too! Looking forward to meeting a rheumatologist.

Yeah, I'm so exhausted going to doctors, I just put up with the exhaustion and pain. But that doesn't fly if you're trying to get disability. Someone said something about restless legs, I take 2 Hylands leg cramp caplets when it gets bad and that helps, it's available over the counter.

Juicebox234 I had so many bladder infections until I had a hysterectomy. Then they went away. May get one once a year if I am lucky.
