I don’t often hear about the destructive self soothing habits enough. I’ve had so many between destroying the joints in my fingers to scratching my head till I bleed or hitting my thigh or shutting emotions out entirely for days at a time. Not all of them are bad! But the ones I mentioned definitely are. I feel like it’s not discussed enough about what can happen to your body if you don’t treat your symptoms.

fatigue! being anxious takes a lot of energy, its overall just difficult to convey to people especially when your body is exhausted yet on edge simultaneously.

That feeling you get during a panic attack when u feel like it'll last forever bc that rational part of ur brian just turns off right then and there

Autism and sensory issues. Also issues with eating cuz it’s too stressful cuz of the stimulation
