Assuming you have normal female anatomy it's not possible to accidentally insert anything into your urethra. I suspect you managed a distorted vaginal insertion but are worried about the placement. The female urethra doesn't open up enough for that product to be inserted. It might have softened enough though so it may seem like it was, when actually the insert just melted around the edges. If you want to be absolutely sure ask your doctor to order a urinary clean catch specimen. The test is sensitive enough to detect the glycerin base of the product. For comfort try a warm (NOT HOT) washcloth for 20 minutes. If your symptoms continue past another day see your doctor. I routinely insert catheters for males and females, as a nurse in ER. You need to increase your water intake so if there is any residue in the area frequent emptying of your bladder will help clear up the area.
