My Weird Gluten Reaction: Severe Migraine and Vomiting

How does your body react to gluten? I feel like the way mine reacts is weird in comparison to others. Now that I have had a completely gluten free diet, when I’ve accidentally eaten gluten I get a severe migraine that results in me vomiting for hours, and even having to call out of work the following day.

I get a stomach ache so bad, I get nauseous and fatigue. I just wanna curl up in a ball. I avoid it as much as possible, but eating out has the possibility of cross contamination. Depending on how much gluten depends on the severity of the stomach ache and how long it lasts.

My body did not react at all to gluten before I was diagnosed which was weird. Now that I've been gluten free for almost 8 years, if I accidentally gluten myself I end up vomiting all the contents of my stomach out. It's horrible, and it does not stop for hours. Even when there's no food left in me, I still vomit.
