You can also eat hard candies and (usually) gummies as long as there’s no red/purple dye or milk products in them. I always get sour candies because it helps get the weird taste out of my mouth after eating broth all day. Though no solid foods are recommended, I always break too. I’ve eaten a couple rice chips and snuck in other light foods. Basically, as long as your bowel movements are pretty clear, they’ll still perform the procedure. They can clear out small amounts of stuff in your guts, you just can’t have a lot in there so a chicken leg might be pushing it a bit 😂 I’m not sure how quickly avocados break down after they’ve been eaten, so I wouldn’t eat too much more in case it bulks up in your guts. If you’re scheduled for the morning, I personally wouldn’t eat any more solid foods but I know it’s hard to resist. Just try not to eat anything heavy. Keep in mind, if you’re not cleared out enough they won’t be able to do it and you’ll have to do the whole prep over again another day. That’s always my motivation to stick with the clear liquids because the preps are horrible. But you can eat all the candy/broth/clear liquid products you want before the cut off time. I’m sorry you’re having to go though it, I know how horrible it can be. Wishing you the best! ❤️
