What Does a Panic Attack Feel Like?

what does it feel like when you have a panick attack? I was washing my dishes then next thing I know my heart was pounding and racing and I'm panick ok ng even more. According to my Fitbit it jumped to like 160. I know their not super reliable but helps when this happens. finally took a hydroxyzine that I got for now from my Dr and got it back down. I go to my 1st psychiatrist appointment tomorrow at 2:30pm. so fingers crossed something will help. I also just learned about a swab test that can determine what medications will and will not work for you. so I'm going to look into this too!

Thank you! Normally my heart rate goes high of I'm sitting down and pay attention to my heart beat. A lot of family have passed away from heart attacks and other health issues so I tend to focus on that now. Then I feel like it's going to fast and I give myself anxiety then. But I was just washing dishes and it came on. I felt fine other than the fast reaching and pounding heartbeat. Never had one that bad and thought it was a heart attack even though I've been tested for any heart issues and all were good to go.

Wish I could take all those. I'm on Suboxone at the moment and hydroxyzine when needed but according to research I shouldn't take Suboxone or any kind of benzo or opioid with hydroxyzine and I shouldn't take benzos like Xanax or Valium with suboxtone either atleast according to research. I've literally tried about everything my PCP can prescribe which is everything but Xanax or Valium. She got to the point where she said "I don't know what to do. I can't help you anymore"

I didn't have any when I took hydroxyzine previously or when I took metoprolol. Metoprolol just made me feel like crap so I stopped that. But took hydroxyzine to help calm me down tonight and it's helped a lot. I stopped taking it bc my Dr said she don't like to prescribe it or for anyone to use it long term. Of course, the one thing I found that helps some.

At first I was given Ativan

I'm not sure what that is exactly. I know I only take 16mg of Suboxone a day and my hydroxyzine is 25mg which I believe is the lowest dose of that
