I don't see any reason why you shouldn't, if you feel it will help you you should go for it!

I would definitely do it. I didn't until last year, and I wish I did years ago. I just always assumed that they'd make me motion sick. As I get motion sick doing a slight turn in an office chair. But I don't get motion sick in my chair, which is great . I have a power chair. I would have missed out on a lot less if I'd had it years ago.

Getting my electric wheelchair was the best decision I've ever made to allow me mobility and independence (I disliked being pushed by people in a manual chair because it was so inconsistent and out of my control). Second best decision was getting a rollator walking frame for the days I'm well enough to walk but need some support and especially somewhere to sit along the way.

I borrowed my nans to allow me to got to a winter lights show, and I wouldn't have been able to go without it. A complete game changer.

Yes! ♡ I also have cfs/me and I suffer from PEM really badly, I can't walk or stand for more than a minute or so before symptoms start to set in. Having my wheelchair has allowed me to go outside again, I would be completely housebound without it, having it has honestly made such a positive difference ♡
