I’m diagnosed at 17 and I’ve heard it only gets worse. Is that true? Is there any hope for it?

Not at all! Fibromyalgia is not a progressive or degenerative condition. We have flares and times that are better but you won’t get progressively worse.

I'm 26, I was diagnosed when I was 21. Being young and having it is difficult because people want to take you less seriously or say you can't have it at all because of your age.

yeah they just thought I wanted to be doped up on pain meds or that’s “it’s all in my head.” Or “have you tried yoga” It’s especially hard because It was triggered like 3ish years ago and that was when I was like 14. NO ONE would take me seriously.
